3 - 5 July
Following his recent workshops at ADEM, Roberto Castillo returns with a body-based approach to Latin American rhythms. At the heart of this workshop, percussion merges with dance movement and theatrical expression. Participants will discover the sensory dimension of rhythm and everything it awakens within us.
Come explore your creative potential and develop your improvisation skills! No musical instrument is required — your body will be your main instrument of expression. Let your ears and imagination guide you through an exciting musical adventure!
The workshop includes printed material to support learning and help memorise the exercises.
Venezuelan rhythm specialist Roberto Castillo continues to push the expressive boundaries of body percussion. Following his studies at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, Roberto dedicated himself to developing Corposound, an innovative percussion method designed for dancers, musicians, actors, and anyone interested in rhythm and percussion.
This unique approach to rhythm has been shared through numerous masterclasses led by this exceptional artist across Europe, Africa, and the Americas. Today, Roberto continues to develop Corposound from Madrid, where he leads workshops for all audiences while also pursuing other musical activities, including composition.
