The ADEM is also a laboratory of ideas and new releases relating to world music. CDs, DVDs, books, the Cahiers d’ethnomusicologie, etc. The numerous publications featured on this page reflect the various initiatives undertaken in collaboration with diverse editorial partners.
As the only French language ethnomusicology journal, the Cahiers d’ethnomusicologie has become an indispensible work tool over the course of the years for all music professionals, as well as interesting reading for a number of world music connoisseurs.
The books and collected works derive directly from studies carried out within the framework of the Ateliers d’ethnomusicologie. The many different ways of approaching ethnomusicology, such as field work, conferences or even just the reflexion on the state of world music, allow for the transmission of discoveries and original experiences.
