4 - 5 July
For his first workshop in Geneva, Felipe will offer precise technical training focused on footwork mechanics, body placement and engagement, coordination, and the specific tools that shape the language of flamenco. This stage of the workshop aims to strengthen technical foundations, refine the quality of movement, and help participants gain greater control over their expressiveness and energy.
The following sessions will then be devoted to the creation and learning of a choreography. Participants will have the opportunity to put the techniques studied into practice, explore their musicality, and understand how they come together within a complete artistic creation. The goal is to help each participant connect movement and interpretation in order to develop a strong and personal stage presence.

Chilean bailaor and choreographer Felipe Clivio has an extensive background in flamenco and Spanish dance, combined with teaching experience since 2003.
He trained with major flamenco figures in both Chile and Spain, including Rafael de Carmen, Belén López, Rafael Campallo, Rafaela Carrasco, Jesús Carmona, José Maya, and Javier Latorre. He later continued this artistic lineage by joining companies directed by some of these masters, notably those of Rafaela Carrasco and Javier Latorre, as well as other renowned ensembles such as the companies of Carmen Mota and María Pagés.
This continuity between training and artistic creation has also led him to collaborate with institutions and productions such as the Teatro Real, Authentic Flamenco, tours across the United States, and the Fundación Casa Patas. He has performed on prestigious stages including the Beijing Opera House (Beijing), the Théâtre National de Chaillot (Paris), the Teatro de la Maestranza (Seville), the Festival de Jerez, the Bienal de Sevilla, and the Monte-Carlo Sporting.
