Workshop
Dances and Rhythms of CalabriaCome and explore the traditional rhythms and dances of Southern Italy, particularly from the mountainous Aspromonte region of Calabria, where sound and movement seem to converse with Mediterranean light and wild landscapes. Led by musician and educator Domenico Morello—descendant of a renowned lineage of traditional musicians—together with Salvatore Meccio and Massimo Laguardia, the workshop is open to anyone wishing to discover or deepen their experience of Calabrian music and dance.
A joyful moment of shared learning at the heart of a rich and living musical culture, based on oral transmission, active listening, and the intimate bond between music and movement.
