Kadinelia is the name of the species of falcon found on the Cyclades archipelago. This bird possesses the strange particularity of mating mid-flight. It this symbolic act of liberty that inspired Athanas Zikas and Evi Seitanidou to name their duo, created in 2013, accordingly.

Since then, these two artists have travelled all over Greece, and far beyond, to share their music to the rhythm of their encounters, leading their audiences from the shores of the Mediterranean to the banks of Mississippi. Their programme constitutes a full-fledged adventure, unique and refreshing, stamped with a very personal poetry. A journey that mixes the musical traditions of Greece, blues, folk, country and gypsy music.
