Singing the Greek culture of today

This workshop is for all those who want to discover and develop their vocal ability and their interpretation of Greek singing in its different styles: traditional, rebetiko as well as popular and contemporary.
It will be an opportunity to discover the extraordinary richness of the Greek repertoire, its poetry and rhythms, as well as its particular harmonic colors. It is not necessary to be able to read notes to participate!

This workshop will be lead by Anna Koti, graduated from the Hellinikon Conservatory of Athens in classical and traditional Greek singing. She also obtained a diploma in theatrical interpretation. She will be accompanied by the virtuoso of Greek music: Anastasios Bagourakis on the Cretan lyre and voice.
