Dhrupad is the oldest surviving classical musical tradition in North India. The accuracy of the voice of sound frequencies and micro-tones are the essence of Dhrupad.
Mridangam classes: South Indian percussion
The mridangam is a classical double drum from South India. Used to accompany songs, instruments and dance, it is made form a single piece of hollow wood, though it may have originally been made of clay.
Kathak classes begin with learning and practicing foot rhythms (tatkar), as well as the vocabulary of synchronised body movements, then diverse choreographies, rhythmic sequences, as well as invocations to the hindu gods (Bandana).
Hindustani Music : Santur, sitar or tablas
Paul Grant is a musician and teacher who has spent more than 35 years dedicated to the study of Eastern music. He is known for his mastery of the santoor in a variety of classical repertoires, including Indian, Persian, Afghan and Kashmiri. In addition to being proficient on the tabla and sitar, he has restored and made several instruments in his existential quest for perfect sound!

Kathak dance - North India
In this all-levels class, you will learn or train the technical basics of Kathak dance, while learning about the culture in which it was born. You will become familiar with the gods and goddesses, Krishna, Durga or Shiva, while improving your balance and the precision of your movements with foot strikes and pirouettes.
