5 to 9 july - 2021 | ADEM Montbrillant - Geneva
Little sister of the Crossroads of Cultures, the Crossroads of Z’Ethnos immerses children in the contrasting universe of world cultures. During 5 days, through various workshops (dance, music, plastic art, cooking, storytelling, ...) they will set off to discover Occitania and India. All the activities are led by exceptional artists and experienced educators. Supervision of the children is provided by professional animators. At the end of the week, the children will take the stage to share their discoveries and if sanitary measures allow, we will close this 2021 edition with a festive aperitif.

Sujatha Venkatesh
Bharat Natyam is the most ancient style of traditional dance in India. It is a difficult and complex dance, in which each movement of the body (abhinaya) and each hand gesture (mudra) holds symbolic meaning. What appears to be so fluid, graceful and easy demands lengthy training and daily practice.
V. Pasupathy et S. Sivarajiyer
The mridangam is a classical double drum from South India. Used to accompany songs, instruments and dance, it is made form a single piece of hollow wood, though it may have originally been made of clay.
