Violons Barbares is the encounter of three musicians from vastly different origins and cultures — one Mongolian, one Bulgarian, and one French. Only three performers, yet it feels as though an entire tribe of fierce horsemen carries us across the Mongolian steppe and through the Balkan lands, violins on their backs and drums in their packs.

Formed in the late 2000s, this hybrid trio immediately captivates with its originality and virtuosity. Their music radiates a rare cohesion — powerful, magnetic, and overflowing with energy and joy.
