BE A MEMBER

By becoming a member of the Ateliers, you will receive our programmes in the mail each trimester and benefit from reduced fees for all our activities: concerts, festivals and workshops. In addition, you will receive 1 free ticket for the opening concert of our yearly autumn festival. You will also receive a preferential fee for activities organised by our partners AMR-Sud des Alpes, the Musée d’ethnographie de Genève (MEG) and Amdathtra. You benefit from a free ticket for all the exhibitions held at the Museum Barbier-Mueller. More info ...

COURSes & WORKSHOPS

Since their foundation, the ADEM's have offered artists from all over the world, established in Geneva on a permanent or temporary basis, a framework conducive to the transmission of their art. Whether individual or collective, each workshop functions autonomously, both pedagogically and administratively.
The courses are in principle weekly and the tuition is paid directly to the teacher. However, it is compulsory for the students who take their classes in our premises to join the association.
The description of the courses was established from the information provided by the teachers; it is likely to be modified during the year.

Bharata Natyam

Sujatha Venkatesh

Bharat Natyam is the most ancient style of traditional dance in India. It is a difficult and complex dance, in which each movement of the body (abhinaya) and each hand gesture (mudra) holds symbolic meaning. What appears to be so fluid, graceful and easy demands lengthy training and daily practice.

New classes

Latinoamerican rythms & music

An introduction to Latin American rhythms through a didactic and hands-on repertoire, which is adapted for the voice and for instruments.

Youth audience

Flamenco Dance

Michelle Gagnaux

Classes offer insight into flamenco through rhythm and movement. They are based on warm-ups, feet techniques and arm movements, as well as rhythmic exercises using palmas and other percussion mediums. Linked steps are also taught at a level adapted to the children.
