Individual Oud classes
Aimed at any level, these classes help develop listening and technique by focusing on the main styles of Eastern instrumental music. Classes are also open to those who want to discover the lute or accompany their own voices.
Eastern song techniques classes
These weekly hour-long classes, private or group, are for students wishing to improve or for beginners wanting to discover the techniques of this art. Using songs from the Eastern classical tradition, classes are aimed at helping the student towards musical autonomy.
Improvisation workshop
This workshop is for students learning instruments, who want to make music without a score and explore it in a group context. Arranging ensembles, developing an ear and musical expression are all key elements of the class. We will try to find the way to open, free improvisation. Students will lean to use their technical and cultural baggage to develop expression, while working with melodies, songs and rhythmic cells.
